Farms Forever Art Auction & Dinner

Expo Center, Thurston County Fairgrounds
The South of the South Community Farm Land Trust is hosting a dinner and art auction gala this spring featuring art of the world of farming, food, or gardening. The event will feature a live auction of fine art and a silent auction of art, prints and other items, and a ticketed dinner of local seasonal food, and topped off with homemade pies and live music.
Call for Submissions: Fine Art
Submissions limited to 3 entries.
Art accepted for the event must reflect a theme of farming, food, or gardening.
Accepted media are original oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, prints, mixed media and fine crafts. Also acceptable is 3D art such as sculpture, fiber art and quilts. Not accepted are copies, computer or Giclee prints.
2D entries must be framed and ready to hang or with hardware attached to canvas frame to allow for suspension.
Deadline for Submission is March 5
Submissions must include a completed application, a digital photo of the entry and a short artist bio. Artists will be contacted to confirm their entry has been accepted. Accepted pieces will be displayed prior to the event on the Land Trust’s website: www.communityfarmlandtrust.org. Proceeds from the fine art live auction sales will be split 50/50 between the artist and the Land Trust. Artists may wish to completely donate their art to support the work of the Land Trust. Such donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated by SSCFLT.
Seeking Silent Auction Items
We are also accepting donations of both original and print art for the silent auction. Sale proceeds of the silent auction are not shared but go to support the programs and mission of the Land Trust. Please contact us if you would like to donate silent auction items.
